working with Python curtus breitensteini (picture 2)as well as Python curtus brongersmai (picture 1) is only for true snake enthousiasts. as far as snakes are lazy, curtus is really lazy! they can stay on the same spot hiding for weeks, only moving for drinking, feeding and shedding. they ara also so heavy that virtually no cage furniture survives their movement when shedding. In my experience these snakes are not as agressive as some literature sais they are. the animals which I handled were mostly docile. Always be carefull whith such heavy snakes fat means powerfull!!
